Along with the Kansas City Chiefs, who won the Super Bowl the previous season, the Vikings were one of just two undefeated teams in the NFL going into this game.
And they put the renowned quarterback for the Jets, Aaron Rodgers, through hell as they raced into a 17-0 lead in front of 61,139 fans at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Just before halftime, the Jets gave themselves hope, and as the rain started to fall in north London, Rodgers threatened to lead the Jets back.
With six minutes remaining, the NFL’s four-time Most Valuable Player connected with Garrett Wilson for a touchdown to bring the score down to 20-17.
However, Rodgers was intercepted for the third time in the game with 49 seconds left, as the Jets were moving closer to Minnesota’s end zone. As a result, the Vikings improved to 5-0 while the Jets slumped to 2-3.
