Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), has stated that violence against journalists is never acceptable.
Rehman denounced the act of terrorism that occurred within the National Press Club in Islamabad while addressing reporters outside the establishment.
He added that the cops took matters into their own hands and attacked journalists, expressing solidarity with them.
According to Rehman, the journalists’ protest was warranted.
