Even after the government repeatedly offered to engage in negotiation, violent protests continued in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
The miscreants continued to break the law at gunpoint while posing as the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) protesters, according to information that came to light on Friday. They attacked police officers, stealing weapons, shooting, and beating them with sharpened sticks. The criminals forcibly removed the police officers’ equipment and tortured them.
Police officers in Islamabad were also the focus of protesters. According to the injured, they were beaten with sticks and stones, had their uniforms ripped, and were taken hostage. Police opened fire and confiscated weapons. Twelve Azad Kashmir police officers and thirty-one federal police officers were admitted to PIMS.
