Zakir Naik, an Islamic preacher, has emphasized that in light of the world’s mounting challenges, the Muslim Ummah must put aside its divisions and come together.
“The Muslim community needs to unite and put their disagreements aside,” he said to anchors in Islamabad on Tuesday.
The Islamic preacher landed in Pakistan on Monday, where he was scheduled to meet with leaders and prominent members of parliament. Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F, was also a guest of his.
During the visit, which begins in Karachi on October 5 and ends in Islamabad on October 20, Dr. Naik will give talks in three significant cities.
There have been extra security preparations made for his arrival to the capital of Sindh. He is scheduled to meet with eminent academics like Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman and Mufti Taqi Usmani.
