Swedish automaker Volvo Cars (VOLCARb.ST) is recalling 413,151 vehicles in the United States due to a problem with the rearview camera, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on Thursday.
This is the second recall following an initial one in May 2025. Volvo discovered an additional issue that causes the same rearview camera problem.
Software Update Planned
Volvo will fix the issue by updating the software. Owners can have this done at a dealer or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. The company expects the OTA update to roll out in the coming weeks.
