In response to the kidnapping of South Waziristan district sessions judge Shakirullah Marwat by unidentified armed individuals, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) filed a first-information report (FIR) on Sunday.
One day prior, armed individuals abducted the district and sessions judge in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, close to the border between Tank and DI Khan.
The judge’s driver, Sher Ali, filed a complaint at the CTD police station in DI Khan. Along with other clauses, the FIR included pertinent sections of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997.
It is important to note that the judge and the mysterious armed men fled together, with the judge’s driver escaping unscathed.
