According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), the nation’s weekly inflation rate has dropped by 0.2%.
22 goods have seen price increases in the past week, according to information that leaked on Friday. In just one week, there has been a sharp increase in the cost of rice, eggs, sugar, onions, tomatoes, and potatoes. In the meantime, the cost of wood, LPG, clothing, dal moong, and dal mash has gone up.
Onions saw a 12.17% price increase, while tomatoes saw a 10.47% price increase. Rice, eggs, and potatoes have all seen price increases of 1.52%, 1.63%, and 3.57%, respectively.
In addition, four goods have had their prices lowered. There has been a 9.80% decrease in flour prices.
