According to the most recent weekly inflation report published by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) on Friday, the total weekly inflation rate decreased by 1.34 percent.
The information that came to light on Friday indicated that the annual inflation rate was currently 4.17 percent. Over the past week, 18 necessities saw price increases, while 14 saw price decreases. Nineteen goods’ prices stayed the same.
The cost of eggs climbed by Rs2.89 per dozen, while the price of high-speed diesel jumped by Rs2.89 per litre. The price of firewood increased by Rs7.98 per maund, and the price of a residential LPG cylinder climbed by Rs1.42.
Price rises were also seen for staple foods such potatoes, rice, meat, and lentils.
