WhatsApp is going to introduce a new double-tap reply function that will resemble elements made popular by Instagram.
This improvement, which is now being tested in beta on Android smartphones, aims to improve message interactions and provide consumers with a faster way to respond.
According to WABetainfo, the new functionality lets users double-tap to reply to messages with a single heart emoji. This comes as WhatsApp continued to work on improving the user experience by adding capabilities similar to Instagram’s direct messaging service.
The double-tap reaction feature is now only accessible to users who are enrolled in the WhatsApp Android beta program.
