White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated seven times that she doesn’t “have anything” to offer regarding when or if President Biden will respond to questions from the media “tomorrow or the next day,” just one day after the president made a commitment to do so.
Regarding Biden’s appearance, CNN correspondent M.J. Lee questioned Jean-Pierre on Wednesday, saying, “The president stated yesterday that he would be taking questions today or tomorrow. To what did he refer?”
“I don’t have anything to share at this time,” the White House spokesperson replied, adding, “As you know, the president takes questions from you all often.”
