A girl told police she felt a sharp “poke” in her back and then saw a shadow in a dimly lit movie theater. Her back was covered in blood.
According to documents obtained by News through a public records request, the juvenile victim of an unprovoked Massachusetts AMC slashing spree told police, “I was in shock and didn’t realize what happened.”
“I looked to the left and saw that they were all stabbed… The unidentified victim told police about Jared Ravizza and said, “(The suspect) laughed at us and sounded like the Joker and ran out.”
Prosecutors reported that on May 25, four girls aged nine to seventeen were attacked in the Braintree theater. This was the central location of Ravizza’s alleged multistate crime spree, which also included a second unprovoked stabbing.

From their hospital rooms, the four girls—whose names have been withheld—spoke to the officers one at a time. Before they were stabbed, they were all talking about the thrill and innocence.
