A previously announced Ultimate Fighting Championship event at the White House is scheduled for June 14 of next year, which is also the president’s 80th birthday, according to US President Donald Trump.
In honor of the US Navy’s impending 250th anniversary, he made the news at a speech at Naval Station Norfolk.
Trump did not specify a date when he announced in July that a UFC event would be held at the White House in 2026.
Although their relationships predate Trump’s administration, he views UFC fans as part of his political base and counts UFC President Dana White as a close friend.
