Dubai police detained an Asian woman for begging, according to Gulf News, but what made her stand out was her use of witchcraft.
The cops apprehended the woman and discovered witchcraft talismans. The authorities believe the woman utilized this technique to influence the persons she stole money from.
Brig Ali Salem Al Shamsi, director of the Dubai Police’s suspects and criminal phenomena section, stated: “The beggar was caught in a residential area, and the police discovered in her possession ‘documents, tools, witchcraft talismans, and magic veils’, which she employs when begging. She feels they help her persuade others to give her the money she desires.”
The Khaleej Times stated that the woman was arrested after a resident complained to the police.
