ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) issued new tickets to the candidates under the name of “Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Nazriati (PTI-N)” in order to implement Plan B in the midst of misunderstanding around the party’s “bat” emblem.
The party said in a statement today that it has given the candidates for the national and provincial assemblies new tickets and instructed them to turn in their declarations to the returning officer, as reported by Geo News.
PTI spokesperson Shoaib Shaheen told reporters in Islamabad that party candidates may file their nomination papers using PTI-N’s name.
