The Hammers will be the only Women’s Super League team left without a home game in their club’s men’s stadium after this weekend’s games.
Five years ago, Tottenham defeated them 2-0 during their lone game there.
“I am aware that the club regards it as a top priority,” Rehanne Skinner, the manager, stated.
“It’s something they are working towards making happen.”
Women’s Football Weekend is the term for the matches on March 23 and 24. They usually occur during the men’s international break and give the women’s teams a chance to play in bigger stadiums than their male counterparts.
All eleven of the other WSL teams will have played at their men’s venues by the end of this weekend.
On Women’s Football Weekend, the only WSL and Women’s Championship games that aren’t playing at men’s stadiums are West Ham vs. Chelsea and Sunderland vs. Durham.
