The authorities of the sport are “determined” to stage “transformational” global championships, but a feasibility study is required, according to sources that news Sport has been informed of.
According to UK Athletics CEO Jack Buckner, “we’d love to have another crack at 2029 and a World Championships,” news Sport said.
“We simply work really well. Everyone talks about the vibe and all of our events.
“We first of all have to do a feasibility study and look at what the various options are.”
He stated that “it would be in his mind” that London would serve as the event’s host city should the bid win.
