Mohammad Yousuf, a former cricket player for Pakistan, stated on Tuesday that the PCB’s decision to boycott the remaining Asia Cup 2025 matches would be a wise one.
Yousuf stated on Samaa TV’s “Zor Ka Jor” show that he would back the PCB should it decide not to play in the next rounds of the competition.
He went on to say that everyone in the country ought to agree with the board’s boycott decision. Yousuf criticized the Indian cricket team, claiming that they were misleading their own people and playing for financial gain.
According to sources, the PCB’s request to have match referee Andy Pycroft removed from the Asia Cup 2025 was denied by the International Cricket Council (ICC), further escalating relations between the board and the international cricket organization.
