It’s possible that Zendaya was initially hesitant to assume The Challengers’ role.
After winding up the premieres of her new sports romance film with Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor, the 27-year-old actress posted on Instagram.
The Euphoria actress admitted on social media that she was “nervous” about playing the lead in the movie and shared personal moments and behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot.
“A small bit of bts dump in celebration of the release of @challengersmovie in a few days. I’ve never directed a movie in this manner, so I’ll admit that I’ve been anxious, but the enthusiasm and support from everyone has been greatly appreciated,” she wrote.
