Computer Yvonne Fletcher, 25, was shot and killed by a bullet fired from inside the Libyan embassy while she was overseeing a protest outside.
Although no one was ever prosecuted for her murder, activists intend to launch a private trial against a former Libyan minister who was present on that day this year.
As PC Fletcher lay dying, former PC John Murray consoled her, saying, “I held Yvonne’s head and assured her that I would one day bring her justice.” I’m still in the battle for it.
