On Wednesday, Quetta Presiding Officer (PO) Zumark Achakzai administered the oath to the Balochistan Assembly’s fifty-six freshly elected legislators.
Speaker Zumark Achakzai greeted the new members and expressed his hope that the new assembly would work together to advance the province. “Together we have to take the province forward.”
The assembly personnel ensured that the newly elected members were properly received.
The Balochistan Assembly’s first session takes place on the same day that newly elected members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly take office.

A total of 5,026 polling stations were built throughout Balochistan, with 1,651 designated as most sensitive and 2,249 as sensitive, assuring extensive coverage and accessibility for voters.
To ensure the smooth execution of the electoral process, a rigorous training program was conducted for 51,379 polling officers and other staff members involved.
