ISLAMABAD: According to insiders, the federal cabinet would grow by adding about 15 more ministers and advisers.
Four names are being examined for ministries, including Mustafa Kamal of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), sources informed The News on Tuesday.
Khalid Magsi from the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) and Hanif Abbasi and Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) are also anticipated to join the government.
According to the sources, some ministers might have their portfolios shifted, while others might be fired completely. According to reports, the president and prime minister conferred before making the final judgments.
