The chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, took aim at the leadership of the former ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Friday, claiming that the party aimed to sow seeds of enmity in Sindh.
As the nation prepares for the next elections, which are set for February 8, the vitriol and verbal attacks between the leaderships of the PPP and the PML-N, important allies in the previous government led by the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), have reached a height.
In an attempt to restore his party’s lost glory in Punjab, Bilawal is vying for the prime ministership, and the PML-N leadership is hurling insults at the PPP for its “poor” performance in Sindh, where the party led by Bilawal had ruled for more than 15 years.
