Gavin Harper, 45, was found guilty of stalking his estranged wife, a police officer, after being called “obsessed” in court.
After putting a tracker on Stephanie Glynn’s car, he was able to catch her having sex with her coworker Andrew McLullich, 42, in the Screwfix parking lot in Birkenhead, Merseyside.
Harper, a resident of Liscard, Wirral, slipped up behind the car and began using his phone to record through the window.
This was the penultimate act in a campaign of “obsessive, intrusive and unwanted behaviour” against Ms. Glynn, according to the prosecution, which ran from December 2020 to February 2021.
A jury at Liverpool Crown Court last month found the father of two guilty of aggravated stalking, which included tapping Ms. Glynn’s car covertly, listening in on her talks, and tracing her whereabouts.
