Raoof Hasan, the spokesperson for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), was attacked by a gang of about four individuals on Tuesday in Islamabad. The attackers appeared to be transgender people, and the PTI strongly condemned the incident.
In a statement on X, previously Twitter, PTI called the incident “extremely shameful and deplorable,” and it said, “Central Information Secretary Raoof Hasan attacked by unknown persons outside the office of a private channel.”
