Senator Ishaq Dar, the deputy prime minister and foreign minister, reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong demand for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire in Gaza during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) meeting in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Speaking to the SCO meeting of nine member nations and four observers from Eurasia, FM Dar called for the unrestricted delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gazan people. For long-lasting peace and stability, he also emphasized the necessity of implementing the two-state solution.
He fiercely denounced the savage Israeli assault in Gaza, which killed more than 35,000 innocent Palestinians, the most of them were women and children.
The foreign minister reaffirmed Islamabad’s unwavering commitment to the Shanghai Spirit, which stands for respect and trust between nations for shared prosperity, as well as the SCO Charter.
