Kevin Bacon has an egg on his lips.
As he sat down for an interview on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” the “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F” star recalled a somewhat horrific episode that happened while he was on the road playing with his band.
“I play in a rock group. We were able to conduct numerous tours,” stated Bacon. “These are not particularly fancy hotels that you stay at. They frequently offer the complimentary meal, which consists of waffles, eggs, and a few Cheerio bits.”
“IF THE TRAILER’S ROCKING,” KYRA SEDGWICK AND KEVIN BACON have been spotted scheming around the set.
Although the band was going from “one lousy hotel to another,” Bacon stated that although he wasn’t particularly hungry, he still wanted to pack some food.
“So, I grabbed a couple of boiled eggs to take with me,” replied the man. “These eggs were hard-boiled after being peeled, if I may say so. I took them to the next hotel and heated them in the microwave for one minute. Then all of a sudden, “boom!”
“So, I bite into the other egg, and it’s a grenade going off in my mouth,” said Bacon. It burst inside my mouth. It’s a story of caution. I suppose you have to cut it in half, folks.”
