On Wednesday, the price of gold in Pakistan increased significantly once more.
The price per tola of 24-karat gold went up by Rs. 1,200 on Wednesday, to Rs. 253,500, as stated by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Ten grams of 24-karat gold cost Rs1,029 more in the local market, making it Rs217,335 total. The cost of ten grams of 22-karat gold increased as well, hitting Rs199,224.
Gold prices on the global market also experienced a significant increase, with the cost per ounce currently at $2,415 following a $27 decrease during the day.
The price of 24-karat silver increased significantly on Wednesday as well, rising by Rs40 to reach Rs2,900 per tola.
