In light of the growing economic difficulties facing consumers, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced on Wednesday a 10-day extension for the payment of power bills.
All electrical distribution firms are required to execute the extension, according to a notification issued by the Power Division today.
This decision is a reaction to the challenges faced by consumers of energy, particularly in light of the recent increases in costs and strains on the economy. The extension will cover the July and August 2024 electricity bill due dates, giving customers more time to arrange their payments.
