According to News, Seat Unique—which collaborates with Wembley Stadium, the venue where Taylor Swift recently performed a run of sold-out shows—will make an announcement later this week regarding the conclusion of an extended Series A investment round.
Sources state that Dame Jessica Ennis, the former Olympic gold medallist heptathlete, and England cricket captain Ben Stokes are among the well-known athletes who are supporting the fundraising campaign, which is being led by the investment firm Nickleby Capital.
Instead of working with performers or promoters, Seat Unique partners with venues including Murrayfield in Scotland and Wembley, where it is an official ticket agent.
It serves as the Principality Stadium in Cardiff’s official platform for hospitality sales.
Alastair Lukies, a former fintech ambassador to the government, and Dame Alison Rose, the former CEO of NatWest Group, have joined the company’s new advisory board.
