Overtaking India’s Mukesh Ambani, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has amassed a net worth of $119 billion, propelling him to the top of Forbes’ real-time billionaire list.
Huang, 61, has seen a phenomenal 2280% increase over the last five years, illustrating the rapid growth of Nvidia, which is currently the most valuable public business in the world, according to India’s Financial Express.
Huang was a co-founder of Nvidia in 1993 and has been president and CEO of the tech startup ever since.
Nvidia’s market capitalization has increased by 177% to a staggering $3.33 trillion under Huang’s direction, primarily due to the tech company’s dominance in the artificial intelligence (AI) space.
On June 18, the company’s shares saw a noteworthy increase of more than 3%, boosting Huang’s net worth by more than $4 billion.Forbes pegged Huang’s net worth at $77 billion at the beginning of 2024, but the tech tycoon was able to move up the rankings thanks to a recent increase in Nvidia’s market capitalization.
