Authorities have launched passenger passes via a smart ticketing system, allowing citizens of Karachi to purchase Green Line and Red Line bus service tickets with a debit or credit card for the first time.
The service was introduced by SIDCL board member and vice chancellor of NED University, Dr. Sarosh Hashmat Lodhi.
The nation’s first smart ticketing facility is found in any mass transit system.
Heshmat Lodhi stated that Green Line customers will find it easier by utilizing cutting-edge technologies.
The process of using the smart ticketing facility was outlined by Heshmat Lodhi. “Passengers will be able to load money into their passenger cards using debit or credit cards at all stations.”
