The Who’s most well-known album covers and group photos from some of their live performances are featured on 12 stamps that Royal Mail has released.
My Generation (1965), Tommy (1969), Who’s Next (1971), Quadrophenia (1973), Who Are You (1978), Face Dances (1981), Endless Wire (2006), and Who (2019) are the album covers.
Two group promotional photos and two pictures of the band performing live, at the Marquee Club in London in 1967 and the Kings Hall in Belle Vue, Manchester, in 1973, are included in a miniatures sheet.
The Who were created in 1964 by Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, John Entwistle, and Keith Moon.
