As the country commemorates Air Force Day nationwide, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commended the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on Sunday for its pivotal role in the armed conflict with India in May of this year.
Every year on September 7, Air Force Day is celebrated one day after Defence Day, which remembers the soldiers of Pakistan who lost their lives in the 1965 war against India.
The president and prime minister both praised the PAF’s professionalism and contributions to defending the nation’s airspace in their respective statements, emphasizing how its accomplishments had bolstered national defense.
We honor the courage and sacrifices made by Pakistan Air Force men today, particularly those who protected Pakistan during the Indo-Pak War in 1965.
