ISLAMABAD: The National Peace Message Committee, which reports to the National Committee on Narrative Building, was established by the government to create a unified narrative against terrorism, extremism, and sectarianism.
Federal Minister Attaullah Tarar will serve as the committee’s chair, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting announced in a release.
Mufti Abdul Rahim, Allama Arif Hussain Wahidi, Pir Naqeeb-ur-Rehman, Allama Muhammad Hussain Akbar, Dr. Muhammad Raghib Hussain Naeemi, and Senator Hafiz Abdul Karim are among its members.
Maulana Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, Maulana Tayyab Punj Piri, and Allama Ziaullah Shah Bukhari are among the other members.
