The Blink Twice star openly discussed how he declined the chance to play the lead in Beauty and the Beast in an interview with Vanity Fair.
The Hollywood star started off by recalling the moment he was offered the role, adding, “One of the biggest mistakes of my career: Guillermo del Toro wanted to do ‘Beauty and the Beast,’ his version of the Beast.”
He gave an explanation of why he had not signed the deal. “And I had just given birth, I was working on a film that was killing me, and the script wasn’t finished yet.”
