As the duke travels to the UK for charity awards, Prince Harry’s Invictus Games (IGF) has announced new funds that promote recovery through the power of adventure and sport.
IGF made the announcement via its X account, which was once its Twitter handle.
“With the power of adventure and sport, we are pleased to announce new grants supporting recovery,” the statement read. #IAMHere
“This November, we are providing support to a team of Colombian service members who are ill, injured, and wounded as they embark on a 5-day high-altitude expedition to summit the Nevado del Tolima volcano (5,215m) in Colombia.”
The statement further states, “We are thrilled to once again support the efforts of Op BASECAMP, who will train members of the #WeAreInvictus Community to compete in the Sjusjøen Loppet, a long-distance cross-country skiing competition in Norway, in March 2026.”
