DUBAI: The Asia Cup 2025’s main event, the match between bitter rivals India and Pakistan, saw poor ticket sales despite the international excitement, prompting the organizers to lower the pricing.
On Sunday, September 14, the Dubai International Cricket Stadium will once again be the scene of the intense rivalry between India and Pakistan.
After fans complained about the exorbitant prices, standard tickets, which were originally priced at 475 dirhams, were lowered to 350 dirhams. The slowest to sell are premium enclosures; less than a week before the game, many seats are still available.
The slower-than-expected demand for what is often one of the most watched athletic events in the world surprised the organizers.
