According to British media, US President Donald Trump has rekindled his conflict with London Mayor Sadiq Khan by stating that, during his second state visit to the country, he personally asked Khan to be left out of the state banquet.
During his return to Washington, Trump told reporters on Air Force One that Khan was “among the worst mayors in the world,” accusing him of overseeing poor immigration policies and escalating crime. Trump declared, “I didn’t want him there.”
Trump claimed the metropolis had changed under Khan’s leadership and connected his decision to an increase in stabbings, pollution, and dirt in London.
