An improvised explosive device (IED) exploded next to a police mobile in the Bhana Mari neighborhood of Peshawar on Thursday, injuring four police officers.
Details indicate that the car was on a regular patrol when the explosion occurred. Security personnel surrounded the area after the event.
For medical attention, the wounded officers were brought to the hospital.
Police verified that investigation and bomb disposal teams had reached the location and were gathering evidence. Near the patrol path, an IED had been planted.
