Around Pakistan, there are still protests protesting the police attack on the National Press Club in Islamabad.
In Mansehra, North Waziristan, and Lakki Marwat, journalists raised black flags and staged protests against police brutality, according to information that came to light on Friday. At the Mansehra Press Club, journalists commemorated Black Day in response to PFUJ President Afzal Butt’s plea.
The tragedy was called the “darkest day” in Pakistani history by the journalists. Journalists in North Waziristan also condemned the National Press Club attack.
