SHIKARPUR: According to authorities on Tuesday, a remote-controlled explosion in Sultan Kot village in Sindh’s Shikarpur district derailled four carriages of the Jaffar Express train, injuring at least four passengers.
When police and emergency personnel arrived at the scene after the explosion, they moved the injured passengers to a nearby hospital.
According to the divisional superintendent of railways, train operations were halted following the incident.
