ISLAMABAD: During the most recent meeting of the Apex Committee, Army Chief General Asim Munir expressed gratitude to Ali Amin Gandapur, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, for his collaboration as the province chief executive on matters of national significance.
A member of the committee that was chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday disclosed this information.
According to a source close to Gandapur who was contacted, the army chief had also expressed gratitude to the KP chief minister for his and his government’s collaboration on matters of national significance, including security and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Additionally, according to the source, Gandapur had not only brought up the matter of Imran Khan and the PTI before the Apex Committee.
