At Gulab Devi Hospital in Lahore, a hospitalized girl was allegedly sexually assaulted on Monday.
Details state that Nauman Shakeel, the accused, was taken into custody by the police after the case was filed. The victim’s father filed a complaint, which led to the investigation being opened.
“The lab technician has raped the girl by taking her to the washroom at Zafar Iqbal Block,” the victim’s father stated.
The police announced that they are still conducting an investigation.
A private school administrator in Orangi Town was also detained by the police last month on suspicion of trying to rape a matriculation student and beating her up when she resisted.
Police sources claim that the event happened inside the Iqbal Market police station’s jurisdiction.
