A “threatening phone call having been made to the premises” prompted South Wales Police to dispatch officers to the New Theatre in the capital of Wales on Saturday, according to their statement.
Officers from the force reported that they had “thoroughly searched the premises” and that “no items of concern were found.”
“The theater underwent a complete evacuation,” the representative stated.
They’re still looking into what they think is a “malicious hoax”.
Currently on tour throughout the UK, In the Night Garden Live stopped in Cardiff from May 2–4.
Igglepiggle and Upsy Daisy, among other characters from the children’s series, are included.
