Bradley Cooper is a major movie star, but he admits he was starstruck when he met Beyoncé to cast her in the remake of A Star Is Born.
In an interview with the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, The Hangover star stated, “I went to Beyoncé’s house, and Jay-Z was watching ‘Judge Judy,’ which I still remember.”
He added, “I’m not kidding. And I was terrified,” he says, “because I remember having this strange cough when pitching it to her.” Like, it was crazy.”
“She was fantastic, as was he, and we worked on it for about a year together. I believe she is one of the finest people of all time. And then it fell through.”
In 2011, the remake of A Star is Born was in the works, but the film fell apart due to delays.
JAY-Z and Beyoncé’ were reported to lead the film, with Clint Eastwood attached as a director.
