TikTok Account Shares Deepfake Videos Targeting Staff
Police are investigating a TikTok account that uploaded deepfake videos targeting staff at Grainville School. The account used the school’s badge and branding in five videos, some showing staff members. Authorities describe the content as deeply inappropriate and harmful.
The Education and Lifelong Learning Minister confirmed that the incident was reported to TikTok and the States of Jersey Police. The account has been removed, and Grainville School is cooperating with investigators.

Authorities Advise Caution and Action
Deputy Rob Ward urged the public not to watch, share, or interact with the videos. He explained that sharing fake accounts can encourage similar harmful behavior.
“Our priority is to remove the content quickly, support affected staff, and strengthen safeguarding measures,” Ward said.
