Following the investiture ceremony held here on Tuesday, newly minted Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian met with Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, the country’s deputy prime minister and foreign minister.
The deputy prime minister congratulated President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on their election victory.
Additionally, he reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to fortify its bilateral ties with Iran.
Dr. Pezeshkian emphasized Iran’s dedication to friendly relations with its neighbors while expressing gratitude for the congrats.
