For the first time in years, a team from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is scheduled to land in Pakistan on September 6 in preparation for the resumption of direct flights from Pakistan to the US.
The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), according to officials, has finished all the preparations required for the impending audit.
As part of their inspection process, the FAA team will assess state safety operations, flight requirements, and licensing tests.
An important step toward resuming direct flights between Pakistan and the US has been taken with the CAA’s confirmation that all departments are prepared to assist with the audit.
