In an innovative move, Google’s Chrome browser is leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to improve user experience by offering features that make use of its models rather than adding a Bard sidebar.
According to The Verge, Google argues that these features, which are now available in a “experimental mode” that may be enabled in browser settings, are just the beginning of the AI browser takeover.
The Tab Organizer in Chrome
With the help of this feature, users can create a tab group with related material by right-clicking on a tab and choosing “organise similar tabs.”
When shopping, doing in-depth research, or opening numerous tabs for reading news at once, this capability comes in quite handy. Despite requiring some setup work, it’s an underappreciated tool that makes browsing more organized.
Artificial Intelligence for the Chrome theme shop
Users can choose an image, style, and color from Chrome’s theme shop thanks to the AI improvement, and Chrome will create a browser theme based on these choices automatically.
The generative wallpapers on Android are created using the same text-to-image approach as this update.
The “Help me write” function
The “Help Me Write” function from Google will be available on all websites starting next month. Users will be able to right-click on any text box and choose the feature.
Users will receive a first draft from the AI, which suggests using it for sending emails, party invitations, and reviews.
