A high-level government delegation met with the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday to discuss its complaints in accordance with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s orders.
This happened a day after nine people were killed during the deadly protests in the AJK, including three police officers.
Senator Rana Sanaullah, PPP’s Qamar Zaman Kaira, and federal ministers Sardar Yusuf, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, and Ahsan Iqbal, as well as former AJK president Masood Khan, are also part of the government’s delegation.
